Many suburban areas of large towns and cities and smaller towns have no or little public transport after 6pm and on Sundays. In rural areas, there is even less public transport. Public transport is essential for us all and should be given the priority in financial resources it deserves. Direct and safe bike routes, and local councils setting an example by removing parking for officers and members. Those who can’t or won’t cycle can use public transport instead.
